As part of a CSR initiative, Dubai Airports commissioned Mawaheb (a unique Dubai-based art studio) to help change perceptions of disabilities and inspire millions of passengers traveling via Dubai International Airport. We were tasked to create a mini documentary about the studio and the project. The film below is a shorter 2-minute version which was then shared across various social media platforms.
Mawaheb from Beautiful People is a Dubai-based art studio for adults with special needs, now known as 'the determined ones' following a directive by His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The studio is located in the culturally rich Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood (previously known as Al Bastakiya). Mawaheb provides an opportunity to develop life skills through art, while demonstrating that everyone can be creative in their own unique way.
